What is the special characteristic?
The ingredients are fresh, seasonal and free from residues. The base of this jam are tomatoes cultivated at Naranjas del Carmen following the strict agricultural philosophy, which completely avoids the use of pesticides.
The tomatoes that have some kind of damage that prevents them from travelling or are burnt by the high summer temperatures, we do not discard them. We use them to make this pesto instead. Once harvested we leave them to dry in the sun during the summer months and once dry we put them in with basil from our garden and extra virgin olive oil from our Campillo de Julia olive grove.
The sale of this product is destined to finance the forestation and regeneration project of our farm: planting of aromatic herbs, stopping water flows, construction of ponds and huts for animals. Thank you!
Storage and use
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 5 days.
