Crowdfarming - or how to become a 21st century farmer -
With the adoption of trees, we are able to cultivate our fields in an organic and regenerative way. By "organic", we mean that we are certified by the European Union's official label for organic farming. We add the term "regenerative" because we also want to ensure that our farming practices regenerate our ecosystems: the soil, the insects, the energy consumed and the water used.
CrowdFarming was created on the fields of Naranjas del Carmen but it soon surpassed the limits of our garden. First, we helped farmer friends to implement this system on their farms. Later, when it worked well for them, news travelled fast and today each week new farmers from all over the world want to join and sell their harvest directly to the final consumer using the CrowdFarming platform.
Our oranges are now enjoying their well deserved summer hibernation, so unfortunately we can't offer you any oranges...
But don't worry, because right now, for the first time ever, we are offering delicious pumpkins from our summer garden!
